Paint By Numbers, formed part of One Amazing
Week, a highly original tourism initiative for Visit London by Freud Communications. Omni scanned and meticulously re-drew 4 masterpieces from the Tate's collection re-creating them as detailed 'paint by number' canvasses, printed and stretched over frames, each measuring up to 3 x 2 metres and supported on giant custom built easels.
The pictures were accompanied by a very faithful reproduction of the original, a canvas for signing and guide to the numbers and colours. Working over the preceding weekend our team set up the canvasses and supporting material at four key sites around London where over 4000 people had the chance to participate in an innovative art experiment.
